  1. As we have seen in previous lessons domestic abuse towards women all around the world is a serious issue. South Florida is not the exception. We have previously looked at organizations such as the Jim and Jan Domestic Abuse Center, a private organization which offers shelter and resources to domestically abused woman. Now their efforts are greatly appreciated, and certainly go a long way towards dealing with the issue at hand. However domestic abuse towards women is a serious multifaceted issue therefore it is impossible for any particular private or government agency to provide all the services, and resources needed to make sure that we get to the core of the issue, and provide long term solutions for this women rather than a temporary escape from reality. More specifically some of this issues include: Women going back to their abusive partners because of a lack of opportunities to achieve long term stability. In addition there is also a lack of a cheap, effective, and efficient method to dissolve the marriage by the church. Finally the foster system is extremely poor in many ways such as: Brothers, and sisters been separated, and taken to different homes. Another factor involved with the foster system is the fact that this women’s children are often put in homes where domestic violence, and abuse are present towards not only the woman in the household, but also the children themselves. A concern for any responsible woman with children.
  2. There are several rudimentary steps which need to be taken in order to set a solid foundation for this women to stand on their own to feet so that they do not feel the need to return to the abuser out of sheer necessity. First there should be a state, and federal law which states that if there is evidence of abuse the woman should immediately be taken from the home and placed in a secure facility if where all her basic needs are met regardless of whether or not she pressed charges or not. This will enable the authorities to conduct through research which will involve interviews with the neighbors, possible witnesses, and background checks on the abuser to check for any previous history of violence. In addition the church and the government ( as it pertains to the legal aspect of the matter discussed) need to follow suit. In other words if it is proven that a woman has suffered domestic abuse in any way, shape, or form the marriage should be absolved with immediate effect.(They really should not take the “Till death do us apart so seriously). Finally I firmly believe the foster system needs to be severely improved. For starters brothers, and sisters should get a much greater guarantee of been placed together. In addition the vetting of the foster parents should be far more extreme and detailed. They should be put through far more extensive background checks, psychological examinations, and be asked to provide evidence that they have the income to provide beyond the basic needs for survival for this children. More specifically they should be required to open a college fund, and be able to open an account where they deposit at least $100 dollars per check until the child turns 21 years of age.
1I think psychology as a modern discipline of the social science is at the essential, and rudimentary foundation of the intinsic, and inherent value that the social sciences posses. In other words the term social is directly correlated and related to the intriguing concept that is human nature. Thanks to psychology we are precisely able to comprehend what exactly it is that constitutes our nature by providing us with tools that expand throughout its various disciplines, and fields. The trickle down effect of achieving said understanding is invaluable. More specifically possessing a deeper understanding of the way we function mentally, emotionally and physically will enable us to communicate, and relate to what we are each trying to convey, and portray as an individual. This is something that is paramount if we aspire and desire to tackle issues such as domestic violence. In order for the collective to be effective the individual must be positioned in a situation where they could maximize their potential, and contribution to our society. I believe psychology does just that by providing resources, and methodologies to identify weakness, and accentuate virtues, and strengths within the individual.

2The importance of psychology in the studies of contemporary societies can not be emphasized enough. As I mentioned above there are methods which focus on empowering not only victims of domestic abuse but individuals in general to achieve a state of self actualization. Now this profound understanding that psychology provides in not limited to just the individual. In fact one can make the inference that said comprehensive, and holistic understanding of the individual which encompasses the mental, emotional, and physical realms serves as the rudimentary building block of a far more extensive understanding of contemporary society as a whole. The comprehensive understanding of the collective enables us to embrace our strengths and face our weaknesses as a unified organism if you will.. So that we can identify methods which will serve the purpose of allowing us to continue to grow develop and evolve improving the state of our society, and quite frankly humanity as a whole.

3At the risk of coming off in a redundant fashion the influence psychology has on the social sciences can not be accentuated with enough fervor to do its impact justice. The social sciences study those elements which compose past, and contemporary society and humans have, are and will always be the heart, and soul of the such therefore any discipline which places its focus on understanding human nature as a whole mentally, emotionally, and physically will be at the core of anything of substance in relation to the social sciences.

The issues, and problems that psychology studies via its various fields, and disciplines is quite extensive, and broad. Some of this issues include
  • Mental Health
  • Sociopathy
  • Psychopathy
  • The negative effects of different external factors such as the economy, the environment, social contracts, and unhealthy relationships.
  • The causes of abusive behaviors towards our loved ones, and in many cases towards ourselves.

Psychology is used to manage contemporary problems in our society by providing incisive analysis which in turn lead to the development of effective, and efficient solutions which cater to the specific contemporary issue include the following: Single parent households, drug abuse, domestic abuse, violence in schools, and materialism.

Psychology is used to study some of the issues plaguing our society within my country by providing different resources, and tools such as counseling for recovering drug addicts, marriages which are in the verge of being dissolved, and medical assistance for individuals who suffer from mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder via the branch of neurology.

Venus Factor Reviews – An In Depth Insight

Diets And Exercises Plan For Women To A Hourglass Figure

Weight Loss The Leptin Way To A Perfect Venus Index

Venus Factor review. If you’ve been looking around for a decent review of Venus Factor, I know it ain't easy. Does it help lose fat to a feminine shape? Is it a quality program by a knowledgeable author? You might be curious whether it is the best current re-shaping program on ladies' fat loss, or whether it’s working right now. Bear with me.
Venus factor is the brainchild of John Barban who holds a degree in nutrition and human anatomy from the University of Florida and has a vast experience in the supplement industry. Before you are even turned off by the supplement word, rest assured that his program has absolutely nothing to do with supplements and it is totally natural.
Its basic foundations are built upon restoring women sensitivity to leptin, a very important hormone that was discovered as recently as 1995 as having a dramatic impact on fat and appetite, both for men but especially for women.
Just like insulin, leptin is critical in regulating metabolism and sending the right signals to burn or accumulate fat, depending on life circumstances. The problem is that even though women have twice as much leptin in their bodies than men, they have unfortunately also more resistance to the signals leptin releases in order to trigger fat loss from storage or suppress appetite.
What happens normally is that the more adipose tissue you have, the more leptin is produced which in turn will send signals to reduce appetite accordingly. Women seem to have more trouble than men in receiving these signals from leptin effectively, thus have more difficulty in regulating appetite.
This also explains why women tend to fatten up particularly after child birth and have then trouble shedding the excess weight. This is because after birth leptin resistance goes sky high, probably as a result of evolutionary advantage in keeping a woman's body in extra fat storage mode for the added stress of child bearing against possible famine or food shortage.
Nature does not give a hoot on how sexy and lean or over weight you look, it only cares about what is the best physical shape for you and your child to survive. This is the bad news. The good news is that John Barban has devised a totally natural system to restore leptin sensitivity to fat burning mode that in turn will result in a lean and trim hourglass figure.
The program is based on a combination of nutritional guidelines and specific exercises for women with the extra help of software calculators for nutritional and body measurement accuracy, plus a ladies' community for help and feedback, the last one a very useful psychological tool to avoid staleness and spur optimal results. to read and learn more about it click the link below :) Please leave any comments or questions you might have :)
